CURRICULUM
Each session will include discussion, practice, downloadable reference PDF, and quiz.
Session 1: Review foundational hip anatomy, with a physical practice examining hip flexors and extensors (forward and backward motions of the hip). You’ll also look at the literature around stretching vs. strengthening.
Session 2: Explore lateral and medial (side-to-side) stability and these muscles’ role in maintaining balance.
Session 3: Look at rotation of the hip, along with the role these rotator muscles and mobility play in agility.
Session 4: Tie together all direction of motion for a path forward to three-dimensional hip stability for life.
